The conference will bring together Alain Badiou, Richard Kearney and Slavoj Žižek with a distinguished body of internationally recognized Pauline scholars, historians of early Christianity and religious theorists to explore the question of whether St. Paul, one of the west's great anti-philosophers, is also in fact a rich resource for a philosophical conception of the engaged subject, political action, the universality of truth and the singularity of the event. Announcement: We are happy to announce that Prof. Richard Kearney has been added to the program to replace Prof. Giorgio Agamben, who will be unable to make a video link presentation. |
